EDDIE LEWIS
CARPENTER
Eddie Lewis
Carpenter of 5241 Hwy. 2003 McKee, KY,
born June 16, 1932 was called home on June
16, 2011 at the age of 79 years. He was a
member of the Indian Creek Baptist
Church.
June
16, 1932 God blessed Rollie & Eliza
Carpenter with a baby boy, on June 16,
2011 God called him back home to Heaven to
be reunited with his mother and father. He
was welcomed home by his brother Oval and
other family members and many friends
too.
He left
behind five sisters and two brothers, Nell
Boggs, Ted (Maxine) Carpenter and Jewell
(James) Denham all of McKee, KY, Opal
(Robert) Dannelly and Ben Lee (Carol)
Carpenter of Richmond, KY, Judy Eden of
Berea, KY and Betty (William) Stevens of
Bloomington, IN and many nieces and
nephews.
Funeral service was
held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the
Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Kay
officiating. Burial followed in the Rollie
Carpenter's Family Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Dean & Willis Dannelly, Odell,
Jerry Lee & Ed Carpenter, Mike Denham,
Bryant & Chris Eden. Lakes Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.

WILBURN
CHASTEEN
Wilburn Chasteen
was born July 20, 1945 in Rockcastle
County and departed this life Sunday, June
12, 2011 at the Pattie A. Clay Regional
Medical Center in Richmond, being 65 years
of age. He was the son of the John Henry
& Flora Aritha (Jackson)
Chasteen.
Wilburn
is survived by his wife Cleta (Young)
Chasteen of Morrill and by two daughters,
Wilvona Thompson & her husband Tony of
McKee and Jenny (Sissy) Spurlock & her
husband Keith of Tyner. He is also
survived by a brother, Charlie Chasteen
& wife Betty of Berea and two sisters,
Aline Abrams & Christine Chasteen both
of Mt. Vernon. Wilburn was blessed with
three grandchildren, Jared Spurlock,
Jordan Thompson & Brandon
Spurlock.
In
addition to his parents, Wilburn was also
preceded in death by two brothers, James
& Preston Chasteen.
Funeral service was
held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at
the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley
Van Winkle officiating. Burial followed in
the Morrill Cemetery. Pallbearers were
Keith, Jared & Brandon Spurlock, Tony
& Jordan Thompson & John Buttry.
Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
